About the Party
We're delighted to celebrate our wedding with you on Saturday, October 3rd. We're getting hitched at City Hall on Friday, October 2nd with our immediate family in attendance. Join all our friends and family to celebrate in Oakland the following day!

Transportation and Directions

Driving to the party is a breeze from San Francisco. We encourage you to carpool or take a taxi particularly if you want to enjoy a cocktail, or two. If you need more detailed directions or recommendations, give us a call or send an email and we can make a suggestion.

From San Francisco:
Take the Bay Bridge / I-80 East toward Oakland.
Take the right-lane entrance onto 880 South (San Jose / I-880 / Alameda)
Take the first exit, Maritime St. / W. Grand Ave.
Continue straight onto W. Grand Ave.
Turn right at Union St. (Union is between Poplar St. and Adeline St.)

Accommodations

If you're an out-of-towner and need a place to stay, we'd be happy to make a suggestion. Please email us and we can suggest a few places.

Parking
There's an abundance of street parking near the apartment!

Attire
It's a party! This isn't a formal event (tuxes and ball gowns not required) but we encourage everyone to dress up in one of your favorite get-ups.

Registry
Your presence is truly the greatest gift. However, if you want to give us something, we're registered at Smart Honeymoon. You can search for "Dowd" or "Holt" and you'll find a page dedicated to our honeymoon wishlist. The gifts purchased will go directly to our honeymoon in Palm Springs and Austin.
